About Me
2024 update!! After one year spent in Taiwan as a French teacher, I’m back in Rennes where I both work in a Chinese cultural institute and study International Relations. I plan to travel for the first time with my little sister Lyla to England, to visit my family but also to show her the perks of bagpacking and sharing a great adventure on our own ! She’s only 14yo but already extremely mature and curious
I hope you could help us find a great host or give us some tips so that she can remember our little trip forever ☀️☀️☀️
********
I can't host often as I live in a tiny studio in Rennes, however I can host people in my mum's home in the French countryside close to Poitiers. Depends when and for how long :)
Now let’s go back on track! My name is Naya and I’m a student in political sciences and international relations in Rennes, but I don't like to sum up my whole life to my studies.
I enjoy meeting new people, culture, languages and all that common stuff of blabla "I consider myself a typical open-minded CS member" I imagine haha. Well, if being stereotypical were a crime, I better be jailed!
I first travelled solo when I turned 18yo across Europe, and started CouchSurfing at this moment. I've met so many inspiring and heart-warming people that I wish to pursue this philosophy when travelling.
Maybe we could share the love of art, books, philosophy, travelling, simple things (like chilling with a beer and great cheese outdoors) !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it gathers a social, discovering side and an economic side which makes people be kinder and show the most honest side of their personality. Also, I'd rather like to spend my journey with locals than in an hotel with tourists

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Better to say it in real life, don't you think ? But I can surely say that the year I spent working in Taïwan and my road trip in Iceland were the best moments I've experienced so far
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm learning yoga and meditation step by step, maybe you could teach me some asanas (I'll don't cause I'm not experienced enough, don't want to take any risks and have in my notation '' broke my back trying to teach me the cobra '')
I'm great at cooking apparently and if you want I'm also able to learn you some words in French 🇫🇷
I'd love to learn about my host's languages, speaking hours about our life experience, just sharing great moments that will stay in nooks and crannies of our heart forever
What I Can Share with Hosts
Unique moments of share, in a world full of profits and fast dating, meeting someone with the only pure intention of sharing a home and time is I'm sure one of the purest, just giving human conviviality and warmth to receive some in an other way
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, China, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
France, Taiwan
