One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We went to Kham tibet, and hiked 3 hrs from a small village into the rolling grassy hills and got invited into a tibetan yak sheperd tent. Had an opportunity to treat their achy knees, and tried their freshly squeezed yak milk. When dusk rolled around, the yak herd was called home, and the baby yaks were rounded up into the main tent where our beds were placed a few feet away, and we slept (or lack of sleep) in the tent while the mama yak called their babies, and their babies called their mamas. when morning dawned, and the mamas reunited with their little ones, the stillness was sureal on the tibetan plateau with the white capped himlayan mountains reaching for the skies.
