Overview
About Me
I am an Indian dancer/choreographer/journalist, based in Salzburg, Austria. Besides teaching and making dance, I spend a lot of my time climbing the mountains around here, creating and teaching dance, and writing about my revelations about life.
I like laughing, colours, food of all kinds, and kind-natured people.
I am in a constant practice of being present to the moment and everything it brings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find Couchsurfing a very curious method of getting to knowing people, and therefore yourself. It is not always easy to be open, without biases, to novelty, and Couchsurfing offers a platform to explore that.
Interests
I spend my time learning myself, mostly. By doing different things, meeting different people, learning how to be with them, how to be with myself. By being in the nature, by dancing, and making choices as creatively as possible. I also do clowning,
- writing
- dancing
- dining
- indian food
- tv
- rock climbing
- journalism
- mountains
Music, Movies, and Books
I read a lot and, coincidentally, an avid film-buff. And needless to say, being a dancer, music is a very strong stimulant. I am into all kinds of books, movies and music, across genres.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Giving up my job in TV to become a dancer
- Packing up my life completely in one country in order to live in another because it FELT right.
- Seeing snow! The world turned white overnight!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very very interested in learning and sharing thoughts about ways of making creative choice.
I can share lots and lots and lots of interesting stories. :)
I could teach a few exercises on how to be mindful of your body, and tune into yourself.
What I Can Share with Hosts
-Amazing Indian food, as well as other foods. :)
-Engaging conversations. I promise you there will be many!
