Overview
About Me
I enjoy nature, writing, meaningful conversations, being by myself walking in a new place, maybe a big city, maybe a cliff, maybe a building or plaza. I like poetry, visual arts, architecture, art history, learning about flora and fauna, and rocks and mountains, and the nature of Nature... I am a very visual and encyclopedic kind of person. I prefer Nina Simone and Satie to join me in my daily life.
I like intelligent people, but I love kind people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new to this so I will probably change this part when I get more experienced. My idea now is that this is a great way of traveling meeting local people.

Music, Movies, and Books
A la recherche du temps perdu, La invención de Morel, Invisible Cities, La grandeza mexicana are among my favorite books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving to New York City has been really a great experience. Being in Hong Kong and Utrecht sharing my work in literary research are also fantastic experiences. Being on both sides of the publishing world, both as author and editor, and doing performance art are some of the highlights of my life.
But my most cherished experience was simply being at the border between Guatemala and Honduras, feeling the new smells and colors, and the fact that life was an experience beyond my little world.
I also had the chance to visit an amazing family of mountain gorillas in Rwanda.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach French and Spanish, and I love early modern literature and folk and fairy tales.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I speak Spanish, English, French, some Russian and I can communicate a little bit in Italian. I can share my experience as an international student, writer and researcher, and my passion for art, literature and knowledge.
