My name Nayive Carrillo Garzón and I come from Colombia. I am passionate about cultural exchange and, above all, I really like to share my skills, abilities and talents with other people. In exchange for that, I would like to learn from them their languages, cultures, visions, things they appreciate in the world, and understand the way of contributing to improvement of the quality and living conditions of other people.
Since I was fifteen, I am dedicating myself to travelling throughout my country. On these trips, I met plenty of beautiful people – simple-hearted, sincere and kind – to whom I will be grateful forever. Visiting all kinds of destinations throughout Colombia also allowed me to prove my strong will, character and ability to keep myself safe, at the same time developing a sense of gratitude, sensitivity, tolerance and respect, as well as satisfaction in me as a person.
Due to my experiences, I have also learned that books can be the ticket that gives me a free access to other continents, other cultures and to other lives. I became a great lover of the literary art, because it allowed to expand my vision of reality, of life and of the human being. For this reason, I graduated from the Spanish and Literature faculty and continued to work in the academia later on.
However, I believe that The World will not cease to be the best book that every human being can read. Like an open book, it has at disposal of its readers countless stories, images, experiences, surprises, adventures and plenty of meaningful and transformative teachings that can be read, interpreted and lived from through the act of traveling and sharing with others what we are and what we have.
