About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel the world in 80 years :-D see as many smile and share as many laughs as possible

ABOUT ME

there isn't much u can say, u have to see and try to know...

PHILOSOPHY

"Carpe diem" would be a beautiful but hard to reach goal philosophy, i'd even turn it into "Ama diem", though every day is not always lovable... or is it =D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd do both surfing and hosting, have done it the traditional way several times, meeting people who hosted me while travelling and offering shelter to those who needed it when travelling next to my home... it was quite an experience, the whole thing of meeting and getting to wanna share more than just 1 conversation is maybe rendered easier by CS, but love when life doesn't need a kick in by technology'. ^^

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

argh hadn't seen there was another box for that... see box over ;)

Furthermore, i've been host in martinique and venezuela lately, thanks to cs, but still love the good old fashioned way: friends of friends need a place, if I have space they have a place!

Interests

tooooo many to be listed, not even I know them all! I would love to know everything about everything, or at least some things about everything and everything about some things :Dbut my major concern, as building life project, is that of education, the learning/teaching/living concept, how it's done, how it could be better done ('cause there's always a "better" to a "good", all the more to a "bad"!)

Music, Movies, and Books

looooove music, nearly all kinds, from classical through jazz, rythm'n'blues, reggae, to trans-goa, from mid eighteenth century to the 1990s (yeah I have some trouble trying to like today's pop music... though there are nowadays' pepites who help me make peace with modernity :Dlove books too, have lots of them and good ones! but I sometimes feel a lil' guilty "having a library like eunuchs have harems" as V. Hugo says... but I promise, once I'm done with the mandatory literature for study purposes I'll go back to my first love: literature (bucckle up, I'm getting there ;) )as for movies, I like them, love some of them but with my brain being all "encrapped" with today's dull entertainment cinema has been turned in, I tend to have a hard time filtering the 10% worth watchin'...nevertheless, I'm a fan of good old marx brothers or chaplin opuses lately (after and before that too, but especially for now :D )... okay okay, there are lots of good movies, but there are so much more not as good ones, I just can't sort them out... teach me if u know, I'm always open to widening my horizon

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

touched the Sagrada familia's cathedral ceiling, been 1-2m away of a real wild girafe, danced with a bat at 1700m of altitude in transilvania by full-moon, swam with gigantic sea turtles and in the middle of plancton illuminated caribbean sea, it felt like floating in a firework (yes i love animals :-p), met extraordinary ppl every where I travelled (that is amazing!!)... and so much more (okay I sometimes get easily amazed but how fun is that!?)

Countries I’ve Visited

Barbados, Burkina Faso, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Martinique, Niger, Romania, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belgium, Portugal
