One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bathing in the Sainokawara outdoor onsen (hot spring) in Kusatsu, Japan
Climbing Mt. Fuji with a group of other English teachers also living in Gunma Prefecture of Japan
Taking a cruise through Halong Bay in the north of Vietnam with a bunch of travelers I met at a hostel in Hanoi. During the cruise, we went swimming and kayaking, which words cannot describe. After Halong, we did a homestay with a woman in Sapa. She took us trekking along rice paddies and we stayed with her family in her home, which was located on the mountainside.
Exploring Can Tho with a bunch of local Vietnamese hosts and travelers from all over the world. We woke up while it was still pitch black outside to make our way to the floating market. Truly one of the best experiences of my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would be happy to practice English with my hosts (I was an English teacher for a year in Japan) and answer any and all questions about my country. I also look forward to becoming good friends with my host and showing them around Los Angeles in the future if they ever come for a visit!
