About Me
Oh man, I had forgotten how hard it is to write about you...
I'm Nestor, I was born in Honduras, oldest of 3 siblings. My name means miracle.
I come for a humble family and I've been lucky enough to get to know really smart people that have taught me a lot. Because of which I ended up getting a scholarship to study at the university and then another one to come to the US last August. I couldn't be more thankful to all of them.
My favorite food is Pho. My favorite singer is Ricardo Arjona (from Guatemala).
I love love love going to parks and nature in general. There is nothing better than laying back in the grass of a park and listen your surroundings.
I prefer visiting off the beaten track places recommended by locals than to take a picture with that shiny touristy spot every knows about.
I love taking pictures: IG: https://www.instagram.com/nbermudezs/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a very shy person but I don't really like and I'm trying to do something about it. I'm trying to meet new people (like everyone else here, so much for creativity 😅) and hopefully make some friends on each city I visit.
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
I love country music, Mago de Oz, Ricardo Arjona (Guatemalan dude that sings protest music).
A couple of my favorite movies are Trascendence, Matrix, The Bicentenary Man.
I used to read a lot, now not so much :(. I love novels from Dan Brown and Jack London. My favorite book is Jonathan Livingston Seagull
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Was fortunate to be selected to represent Honduras in some math competitions in Venezuela, Brasil, Mexico and Germany. What a humbling experience it was!
- Did a rope jump in a lake without knowing how to swim. You may think, that's not amazing but for me it involved going against my terrible fear of heights and, on top of that, doing it without knowing how to swim. So yeah, I'm kind of proud of that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you math or Spanish 🙃. I'd love to learn about your home country and the ones you have visited. I'd love to share a beer or a glass of wine over some nice conversation. I'd love to learn to taste wines, to cook something typical of your country (beware until recently I couldn't even crack an egg 😅) - Update 1: I can know prepare a few decent meals!
What I Can Share with Hosts
