ABOUT ME

I want to live to be 100 and sail around the world with my grandchildren! I have spent most my life in a small city on the coast where we are lucky to experience all four seasons. I love the ocean and find it hard to picture myself living anywhere in the world farther than a nice drive from the beach. I of course like to spend time with friends, laugh, and learn. I tend bar for money. The summer of '09 has been spent traveling Europe. I have heard much about couch surfing and I am excited to get involved!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to make new friends around the world. I love my home town and if anyone surfs my couch, and i don't have work, i would like to show you why. My home is close to many fun locations. Boston, Providence, Newport and Martha's Vineyard are all within one hour with transportation.

I like to go to the movie store, and search for independent movies that have won awards at festivals. It's like finding diamonds in the rough of advertisements and publicity!
A good comedy is fun but my favorite movie is shawshank redemption.
I like most all music but bands that can do both relaxing and up-tempo tunes are on my ipod. Pearl Jam, DMB, Red Hot Chillipeppers
Who doesn't love to dance :)
Right now i'm reading "The Last Oracle"

A hobby i have recently taken up, scuba diving, is interesting. It is an incredible feeling being able to breath while underwater.
