About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Being the best version of myself

ABOUT ME

I'm an Argentinian woman with italian origins, I moved to Italy when I was very young and lived there until I moved to France (in 2012). I 'm a very proud Italian-Argentinian!
And maybe even French one day...

I like meeting new friends, visiting new places and making new experiences. I like people who are glad to share something with the others, even if it's just a chat on the bus!

I am also a very passionate person, whether it is about my job or about the thing that I love. I'm also a very proud mama.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to do your best and never regret anything. I don't believe in the "better safe than sorry" saying!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a lot the summer before starting to work and having a permanent couchsurfer on my couch (my dear italian friend Elena, then my little sister). Now hosting is more difficult because I'm a working mama.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing gave me great friends, roommates and the coolest group of heterogeneus people to be constantly amazed by.

Interests

Travelling, foreign languages, reading, watching all kinds of tv series, sports (more watching than practicing :P), latin american dancing, science and engineering, shopping, making new friends and...dreaming!

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch all kinds of movies, it depends on how I feel. I might like a very silly girly romantic movie one day and a very serious dramatic or political one the next day. I sure am open to all kinds of suggestions!
The same happens with music, I associate it with my emotions and I look at it as the soundtrack of my life. There are moments for a romantic ballad, others for hard rock, some crazy electronic nights and why not a great soprano singing sometimes...I also became a huge fan of reggae music. And check out Deluxe, this French band I absolutely adore !

With books I'm all about girly stuff, crime fiction and fantasy. These days I'm stuck with Fred Vargas, Camilla Lackberg (who substitutes my obsession with Stieg Larsson), Sophie Kinsella (and I'm not ashamed of it)and Lindsey Kelk. I also went back to Jane Austen lately and I'm so sad 'cause I read everything she wrote, I want more! I even read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, I found it hilarious, but I guess the movie wasn't that good... And I am currently reading everything that Robin Hobb has written, I can totally see why she's friends with George R.R. Martin, maybe one day they'll make a series about her books too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Feel the power of love, a life-changing experience for me.

I finally took the time (and money) to travel around my beautiful Argentina and it has been and always will be a huge milestone in my life. I have seen amazing things and really connected with my roots.

I also finally took the time to go to Machu Picchu, through the Salkantay trek, which has made me so proud for not giving up! Tough but really wonderful!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know what I could TEACH, looks like a big word to me. I know stuff about Nuclear Power Generation and often people ask me about it, whether they are in favor or against, I am always open to discuss the matter.
I can probably teach the languages that I have learnt and I am certainly eager to learn more.
I can dance some salsa and bachata, but I still have a lot to learn. I would love to learn to dance tango, which unfortunately doesn't come genetically printed in your DNA when you are Argentinian (in case you were wondering :P).
I would like to learn cooking well, even if I'm not that bad when I try. My tiramisù is quite alright.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Everything written above. I only have myself, my experiences, my thoughts, my passions, some knowledge about some stuff...hopefully we can share good times and good talks together. I'm a good listener ;)
