Hi, I'm Nick! I recently quit my job in the USA and have come to Europe to travel around for the summer.

I lived in Germany for a bit longer than 2 years and completed grad school there, and before then, I worked in Hungary for a few months after finishing my undergraduate degree at Ohio University.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the undoubtedly the best way to travel the world! It didn't take me long to learn that going to a new place for the first time is best done when you can have someone who knows what is what to show you around.

After living in several parts of the world and meeting awesome people, visiting them has been something that can't be replicated. But couchsurfing is just about the closest possible thing! Incredible people are willing to let me (as well as me let them), sleep for free in their homes, and these are the kind of people I want to meet. That is why I'm on couchsurfing.
