I want to learn Spanish (Castellano) fluently. And I want to go to Madrid, Spain to do it. I also want to see some Real Madrid games. Any people living in Madrid with the same goals, please shoot me a message!

ABOUT ME

I'm a very funny, playful person who likes to debate and likes to learn things. I like to talk about bigger subjects like philosophy, culture, ethical subjects, existence, politics, history, astronomy, psychology and things like this. But, I also love to joke around about ridiculous things. I can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I'm an interesting and delightful guy to be around.

PHILOSOPHY

I love the beauty of life and nature. I think we don't need to imagine any fantasy worlds to be impressed by... the vast, mysterious universe that our beautiful planet floats in is more than amazing enough.

I don't know if I have a personal philosophy, per se, I just live my life. And, as such, I try to enjoy my life as much as I can and do the things I'd like to do while I'm still alive on this planet, because we only get one chance here. So, I try to enjoy myself, follow my dreams, and do as I like as long as I don't hurt anyone or do anyone wrong. I enjoy the friendship of intelligent people with a good sense of humor. I prefer the pragmatic over the unrealistic, superstitious, or overly idealistic. Oh, and I love to make people laugh. ;)

I'm in Madrid, and I'd love to make new friends. Especially friends that want to learn Castellano (Spanish) and like Football (I'm a big Real Madrid supporter)! I also love Karaoke!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never done it before, haven't heard of it when I traveled before. Now, I'm going to Madrid, so I can't wait to see what it's about. I heard good things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I've opened for Hip-Hop legends like Rakim, KRS-One, House of Pain, Eminem's D-12.
- Won a "Artist of the Month" on a local radio station
- Performed in front of a crowd of about 100 people, all of which came to see my band, and most of which I have never met.
- Signed to two different independent record labels, with two totally different styles of music (Melodic Punk; Hip-Hop)
- Got bitten by a Bullet-Ant (insect with the most painful venom in the world) in Costa Rica
- Made comedian Daniel Tosh (of Tosh.0) laugh from a joke I made while he was on stage
- Held a wild scorpion, and a wild tarantula while in Costa Rica
- I've seen an erupting volcano in Costa Rica
