ABOUT ME

I'm a warm, funny, charismatic individual. I like taking care of my friends and family and life is what you make it to be. Sunsets and Sunrises are the best shows on earth. I'm fascinated by the people I meet from all walks of life and take something special from my experiences with them.

PHILOSOPHY

It's all about love and it is as simple as that. I live for God and He gives me strength; I live my life to do his will. Realize that we don't control anything but that we must rise above our circumstances and remain joyful even in times of trial and tribulation. Don't make things difficult or if not I'm gonna send you to the corner for a timeout, so you can think about your life (lol). Keep faith, hope, and love.

My couch kind of looks like the couch surfing couch so it is a perfect match!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On Oct 18, 2012 I hosted Thomas Head and Sarah from Olympia, Washington. It was great and I learned alot from them. We had some nice chats and relaxed by the pool/jacuzzi and hiked Torrey Pines Beach.

Interests

I enjoy spending time with family and friends because that's what it is all about. I like making life an adventure and not following the crowd. Other hobbies include travelling, photography, reading, physical fitness, current events, eating, hiking, watching sunrises and sunsets, etc...I have travelled to 39 countries or 20% of the world; thus, I have 156 nations or 80% to go! My awesome goal if possible is to host couch surfers from each nation to say "I know someone all over the world."

Music, Movies, and Books

I like dramas, comedies, cartoons, action, broadway plays, etc... As for music, my taste are eccletic and appreciate almost anything except metal and some rap. With books, I read the Bible, like Steinbeck, history, current events, international relations, adventure stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba Dive the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Ride the rapids in Alaska. Seeing both my daughters being born. (Not in this particular order)

Teach, Learn, Share

The most important lessons in life I learned from people who didn't have a degree. In school, you get the lesson first and then take the test. In life, you get the test first and then learn the lesson.
