ABOUT ME

i enjoy anything that's a good time, particularly the outdoors. i'm entering my junior year at a small liberal arts school in birmingham, al. i grew up in durango, co; so the south has been quite the adjustment. needless to say, its been fun. i'm currently finishing up a summer study abroad program in lima, peru. the program has only further increased my interest to travel, not only in south america, but the world itself. i'm majoring in economics with minors in spanish and math. these don't have any permanent bearing on my future though; they are merely the classes with the professors that i enjoy. i think an education and a optimistic and flexible outlook on life can take you anywhere...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

during the summer of 2006, i hiked the colorado trail with my sister, one of my best friends from high school, and his brother. we took our time spending six weeks in the CO backcountry. it really put the simplicity back into life and helped refocus me on what is truly important.
