I love to explore, to travel, to meet people, to photograph, to tell a story, and to experience new cultures.

I was born and raised in Zanzibar and I live in Zanzibar . I was working with a lot of numbers and a tours operator in my previous life at tourism industry ,I running my company www.mercuryzanzibarsafari.com.

I also enjoy being outdoors and doing anything that involves physical activity such as hiking, swimming, and playing sports to name a few.

Tourism business is also a passion of mine and would be awesome if I could incorporate that into some type of career =)

To see the world and meet new people. Ever since I independently stepped foot abroad, I've learned to appreciate and be grateful for all the differences and similarities that we all share as human beings. I could be staying in motels and hostels, but I want to couchsurf to meet new people from local areas to gain a richer understanding of the places I am visiting.

Anything that involves physical activity! I love anything related to sports, hiking, swimming, photography, and yoga to name a few. I'm also a tour guide and love to walk around .

In addition, as much as I enjoy time to myself, I also enjoy time with people and meeting new friends and learning about everyone's unique stories. I'm also active in my community and love working with kids and people

Favorite Music - I enjoy listening to a variety of different types of music. On occassion, I'll listen to Coldplay...mixed with some Tupac. Mark Antony.

I can teach some skills about touring ,safaris ,holiday and adventure if you're interested. The only Swahili song I know fully is a song about a Jambo Jambo Bwana in which the same line is repeated over and over again - I can teach you that if you'd like. But would love to learn and share life and cultural experiences with you!

I can share a good conversation about where I'm from, the places I've been to, and the places I wish to visit. In addition, I love swiming and would love to teach if anyone wants to learn . I spent my career so far working with numbers in the corporate world, so if anyone is actually crazy enough to pursue those careers, I can offer a few tidbits of advice.
