I grew up in the UK in the northern city of Sheffield, famous mainly for the Arctic Monkeys and the one and only Sean Bean.

I graduted last year in Television Production and worked for productions companies like the BBC and Channel 4 but gave it up to live my dream of travelling around this fine country called Canada!I'm defintely renewing my visa! The travelling bug has officially hit and no bug repellent is strong enough.

I love the kind of people couch surfing seems to attracts and have met a few in the past. They were an amazing mosaic of people and have decided it's time for me to jump on this life changing bandwagon.

I'm a really motivated and passionate person but love nothing more than to chill with a bunch of great fun people who you feel comfortable with.

Sometimes I like to try to look nice, sometimes I don't care. Sometimes I like to do intellectual things and sometimes I like nothing more than to go bar hopping and dancing.

I love anything with an elf in it (LOTR (proper geeks abbreviate), Harry Potter), plus I am LOVING Game of Thrones at the moment (which featured Sean Bean till his untimely death).

One day I hope to finally learn to play the guitar and speak French or at the very least look at a map of france, while listening to a CD which features a guitar..?

PHILOSOPHY

I love to live. I love meeting people that make you glad to be alive. People you just click with and hope to god you never lose touch. I've made a lot of friends like those through traveling because traveling attracts the kind of people I like. People who want to experience new things and who are open minded and fun. I hope that I could go as far as to describe myself in that way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been in Canada for 4 months now (CRAZY). I mainly stayed in hostels, then went to work at Blue Mountain Ski Resort, learning to ski. I'm still waiting to get scouted for the Russian Olympics. Do people not know natural talent when they see it!

I would love to meet new people while couch surfing just becuase it seems to be the right thing for me to do and I always trust my instincts.

I live in London when in the UK and will definitely love to host when/if I go back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this but it seems like such an amazing thing to do. I heard about it through a friend and thought 'HOLD ON, why didn't you tell me sooner!'.

Interests

I love sport and have since I was little. I've been going horse riding since I was 5 and love badminton. I also like tennis but am not that good, so end up feeling sorry for my opponents! I'm a badass at table tennis/can talk a great game.

I got into every sport that featured in the Olympics, as I worked at the London Olympics.

I also love reading, filming and editing the videos I've been making whilst in Canada.

I am a foodie. I like experimenting with food, my catchphrase being "it's edible". I would love to learn from someone who knows their way around a kitchen.

I guess I'm just a pretty well rounded person like most people on couch surfing seem to be.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have made my own documentary called Rapper. It's about a type of traditional English folk dance called Rapper and strangely enough has nothing to do with rap. It is currently being sold in America.

I had a gap year and went to Ghana. In the morning I worked in an orphanage and in the evenings I would work in the local TV station. It was one of the happiest times in my life and although I was ridiculously busy it never felt that way, as I was loving every minute of it. I strive to feel that same way in whatever job I do next!
