Overview
About Me
I've traveled most of my life. I'm a long time host and traveler with Servas International which is a travel hosting network that's been around since the 1950s. I've traveled all over the world for extended periods of time. I worked as a Postman for 30 years and I'm now retired. I have university degrees in Asian Studies and Environmental Studies.
I recently returned to Victoria after 9 months of traveling. I walked for two months on the Camino de Santiago covering over 1000 kilometers. I started in San Sebastian and walked west to Santiago before heading south to Porto in Portugal. From there I flew to Turkey where I walked another 10 days following the Lycian Way on the south coast. After 5 weeks in Turkey I flew to Israel where I traveled for a month between there and Jordan. From Amman I flew to India where I traveled for 10 weeks. Now I'm back till the fall when I'll set out for South America.
I limit stays to 2 nights. I'll only accept couch surfing members so if you're coming with a friend make sure both of you are registered members.
