Hello!

My name is Neal, I'm 21 years old and I grew up in the Scottish highlands. For the past two years I have been studying Product Design at the Glasgow School of Art but I have recently moved to Köln for an exchange year abroad!
In my year abroad I'm hoping to submerge myself in a new culture and take the opportunity to travel Europe and meet some amazing people.
I'm a sociable, friendly person with a huge passion for arts and design and I enjoy visiting galleries and exhibitions in the places I visit. I'm also massively interested in sports and music; I like to stay fit through cycling a lot as well as playing rugby. As well as seeing tourist attractions on my travel I always have to check out the music scene and experiencing what clubs nights are on offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently heard about couch surfing through a friend has met many amazing people in all places. I have just moved to Köln for the year so I thought it would be a great chance to meet some local people and I am currently in between permanent accommodation so anything you guys could offer would be amazing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a huge variety of music, I currently a disco fanatic but I really enjoy techno and electronic music but as well as indie and acoustic. Some of my current favourite artists; Mac Demarco, Frank ocean, BadBadNotGood, Idris muhammad, Bonobo, Steve Monite, Nicolas Jaar.. but I'm open to anything!

What I Can Share with Hosts
