Overview
About Me
I'm a positive, out-going person that loves adventure and learning new things. I'll happily get involved with most projects and give them a go. Humour and good communication are essential elements of life for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share knowledge, skills and good times with local people wherever I travel. It makes sense to see new places through the eyes of those who live there.
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy most music, as long as it's right for the moment I'm in. Favourite recent movies/tv shows are 'beasts of the southern wilds', 'chocolat' and 'true detective'. Also reading a great book at the moment 'Not about being good - guide to buddhist ethics'. So, eclectic is my taste I think!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Set up a social outreach project called Community Conscious in Bristol, which offers people from marginalised communities the opportunity to access complementary therapy treatments/classes at low or no cost. I'm a massage therapist by trade, so it's very rewarding using this skill for the benefit of others.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach massage
I'd love to learn anything art-related...stained glass window making, knitting for e.g. I'd also love to learn orienteering
I like to share food (although, be warned, I don't cook by recipe!), stories and time with anyone that's open to it
Countries I’ve Visited
