CURRENT MISSION

I share single rooms to individuals in my house, no more than three other people can share house at one time. My house consists of two two-bedroom apts. joined together by a large common area on the first floor, that used to be a barroom. The large front room can be used for parties or dinners and it has A/C too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet other people and show them the area if they are interested in it. I used to be a tour guide when I lived in Washington DC in the 80's and I also lived in Chicago and NYC.

Interests

I am a sub asst. teacher for special education students, during the school year.
I like riding my motorcycle, esp for fund raising events.
I like writing public interest stories in the newspaper.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I captained my uncles 48 foot yatch through a storm to safety in new england.

When I lived away from home I made a lot of friends from other countries, esp. india and africa.
