I guess you could say I'm quite open-minded, interested in experienceing new cultures and people, but my love is really in the geography of the land and places I visit.

Well, there have been times turning up on peoples door steps just before dusk and being welcomed with open arms to sleep on sofas, floors, etc. And there are others where I've had to walk around all night and sleep in Train stations. Each has it's own tale ...

Books - sorry I'm not that educated, but Spot The Dog always makes for an interesting read.
Films - any classics from my childhood; The Goonies, Flight of the Navigator, Coming to America, Labrynth, the list is endless here.
Music - I have an eclectic taste, but 'Old McDonald Had A Farm' has to be up there in the top 10!!!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Watching the sunrise at Qinghai Lake, Qinghai Province, China. Was up very early having been awoken by what I thought was someone outside the tent. I sat up, sitting in my tent door, wrapped in my sleeping bag with the mountains behind me, fields infront of the hill I was camped on and the lake infront of that. All of a sudden, the sun rose, a huge golden ball rising over the horizon of the lake sun shining, reflecting off the waters surface, a blinding light, the birds flying by. To many it may just sound like another sunrise, but how I felt at the time; refreshed & alive!!!
