ABOUT ME

i live for live music at outside venues and meeting cool people in random places. i am a literature major so right there, that should tell you that i have a slight penchant for nerdiness. i am incredibly candid, and it makes people tell me really personal things about themselves for some reason. i like nerding out on the computer and listening to awesome music all day. i am interminably "lost" but console myself with the fact that maybe everyone is and i'm just one of the few that knows it? i am also responsible.

PHILOSOPHY

i think attaching yourself to a personal philosophy is a recipe for disaster. that said, i guess...the golden rule?

oh god. i really can't. okay i'll try to do a top 3 for each or this will go on forever. movies: deathproof, eternal sunshine, the wild one. music: yo la tengo, nirvana, jon brion. books: (i'll do authors, it's easier) tom robbins, joan dideon, jr tolkien. these are all tentative, of course.

i went to the holy shrine of imam reza in iran. it is the most beautiful man made place i have ever seen.

I think it's important to be deliberate and discriminate in your words and actions with those around you. too often people talk for the sake of talking and don't realize what they are actually saying.
