Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a wonderful network for meeting new people and seeing the world from an entirely different perspective.

Interests

I'm always interested in new skills and willing to have a good laugh (at myself, if necessary). Like most couchsurfers, I have a love for travel and enjoy meeting new people. I also love good conversations, appreciate a good cup of tea, practice a bit of yoga, play piano, and enjoy photography and hiking.

Favourite movies of all times are 'Life is Beautiful' and 'Gladiator'! (If I'm having a really crummy day, you'll find me curled up, watching Russell Crowe tackle a tiger.)
Favourite books: Into the Wild, Shantaram, and anything by Dr. Suess.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn almost anything you can teach me! I'd like to learn to cook dishes from around the world. I also want to learn a bit of Arabic, even though I'm not particularly gifted with learning new languages. I can tell you a bit about small-town life in snowy Canada and share stories of life on the road. And if you're interested I can teach you a few yoga poses.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of laughs and smiles. And I find dish-washing entirely therapeutic. :)
