About Me

I am originally from the Midwest, but now I live on the east coast, as a working professional in Washington, DC. I have been able to travel a lot as a kid and I love taking at least one international trip a year. My undergraduate studies were in International Relations and German.

I am about to start my MBA at the University of Maryland and hope that my degree will help lead me to more travels around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first started couchsurfing in college. This was a good way to meet new people, see a different side to a new place, as well as, travel economically.

Now, I couchsurf so that I can meet new people that are similarly passionate about understanding new cultures. I really enjoy seeing a new place through the eyes of a local and if I can use some German and/or Spanish, that is great!

Interests

traveling, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, coffee (used to be a barista), and soccer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn how people live in other cultures and areas of life. Generally living in the suburbs of the Mid-West, I want to experience how everyone lives from every societal aspect and backgrounds and how these people live from day-to-day

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can definitely share the unique trips and adventures that I have had over the years. I can also speak some German/Spanish but I am super patient with my English so I am definitely willing to meet someone that wants to improve their language skills.
