Hello! So my name is Neelam and I live in the centre of the goldilocks city that is Edmonton-- it's not too big, not too small. It's a really vibrant city that I have called home for 24 years. I've been lucky enough to've traveled many places so far in my life, and am incredibly excited for this next adventure. I'm planning to be in Europe for about 5 weeks, both traveling alone and meeting friends along the way.

I've never couch surfed before but it has been highly recommended to me by close friends and family. I'm intrigued and really want to try it out this time around because I think it's a great way to meet new and local people. I think it's a fantastic community building experience and an innovative way to connect with strangers.

兴趣

I'm an artistic and creative person in many ways. Most of what I do with my time and life involves theatre, film, visual art and graphic design. In some way or another, these things make up the majority of my career right now. I also love traveling (obviously), reading, being outdoors, movies, great conversation and having adventures.
For the past few years I've been involved in the Whyte Avenue Art Walk which is a Visual Art event that takes over an entire main street of the city for 3 days. Local artists set up their wares, hang out in the sun and soak up the creativity. I've also been involved in the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival for many years, designing, acting, clowning, and volunteering.
