About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have fun spirited adventures, meet new people/ kindred spirits

ABOUT ME

I like community and work in or volunteer with the community. Last year I set up and ran a fun and adventure group and organised/hosted loads of fun activities/outings, and really enjoyed hosting and want more!! More adventures!! Looking for the next step...And thought Couch surfing would give me the opportunity. My kid has grown, so coming here is about exploring new horizons and REALLY get started!
I hope to meet some spirited adventurers here!

PHILOSOPHY

Be the best me, grow and share the gifts I have for the public good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Set myself up to start hosting and seeking to surf soon too. Just begun to attend Glasgow CS activites.

Interests

Community, cultures -especially indigenous ones. Music- traditional in particular, outdoors, fun and adventure and meeting people lol! Islands- pretty/serene natural places.
Social and environmental justice pretty high up in my interests. But looking for creative, positive solutions with fun/community built in.
I have a passion to swim in nature, and walk through forests, cook in the wild and generally try and have more fun adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Watch lots of older films, Katherine Hepburn in Holiday was good fun, but anything a wee bit classy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably staying in the Iona Abbey for a week, and exploring the Isle of Iona its just the most gorgeous, free and wild place I can imagine. White beaches and turquoise ocean- horizons that go on for ever....Seeing the stars there in ALL their majesty as they were thousands of years ago.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a chemistry degree. I can also make a garden from reused/recycled containers and materials and plant them up- pretty awesome!
