Overview
About Me
Easy going, experimental, free spirited, respectful, and sometimes a bit crazy! Love to travel, of course.
I love meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. Enjoy making friends with strangers, enjoy a good conversation. Equally love hills and sea.. A ZIGYASU (curious, inquisitive) happy to know about anything/everything one has to share - there is always some learning and a different perspective.
Life has been a roller coaster ride so far so many interesting stories to share.
I do enjoy a cold beer, talkative and can comfortably talk with anyone from a 4 year old to 102 years old.
Most important value - Freedom
Phrase - Live and let live
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet interesting people from different cultures, countries, economic-social backgrounds, make good friends everywhere. To live an interesting future story in every place I visit.
Believe in the old Sanskrit phrase 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' which means "the world is one family".
Lohn Lennon - 'Imagine all the people sharing all the world'
Interests
Traveling - I love to travel even if it's a 20 hour journey for staying a night somewhere or those really early morning flights or a quick drive to my hometown. Change of place works wonders for me.
Support feminism - Love meeting women who want to make their mark (love to hear their stories, motivations, plans, defining moments when they broke free, struggles etc.
Easy-going and open minded - Enjoy both equally - camping with just my backpack or staying in a fancy 5 star hotel.
Happy to do things if someone with me says its fun, love to experiment and see life from someone else's perspective
Love sports - currently playing squash, earlier it was badminton. Cannot take sports away from my life for anything.
Constant Learning - Constantly learning about anything new, preferably by talking with someone or meeting someone to know real-life experiences than things from the web
Music, Movies, and Books
Everything including rock, pop, hip-hop, Hindustaani classical, country, edm etc.
Enjoyed a live concert in Persian, Kannada and German (don't know a word of these languages or dialects) As they say music really has no boundaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A 4 hour long camel-back ride in a desert near Jaisalmer , India (boy he ran fast and fearless) Didnt know a camel can be so badass (have done a bit of horse-riding but this was another level)
A dip in St. Mary's Loch in Scotland (as per the local legend it's the coldest)
Got onto my flight 7-8 minutes before the take off time. Boarding gate & everything was closed. Convinced folks & ran like Forest Gump for the flight.
Played cricket with our trek leader and his local friends at more than 3300 meters while it was snowing in the Himalayas
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn - Want to learn how to dance - love the beats, know the music and pulse. I move randomly after a few drinks in a club but would love to become that cool dancer you check out during a night out
Share - Interesting life stories, a good meal, and a cold beer
Teach - Some negotiation skills, law of attraction and how it can change one's life
