Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Portugal, I have studied Communications and Management. I am now working in the center of Lisbon in HR. I like late afternoon drinks in one of Lisbon's rooftop bars or just laying in the beach during weekends reading a book.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started couchsurfing in the summer of 2010 when I was doing an Interrail in Europe with a couple of friends. We wanted to try the experience because we had heard about it and it really changed the way we saw cities and lived our one-month trip! We met and ended up being friends with part of our hosts and they made us see the cities from a different perspective!
Interests
- As any couchsurfer, I am deeply interested in travelling. I loved exploring Cappadocia and riding a hot air balloon. I was thrilled to be exploring Southeast Asia, especially the north of Vietnam and the fields of Sapa. I travel as much as I can and love the wonder of planning the next trip!
- My new challenge is surf. I am taking beginner classes . I always had loved the waves, but only now got courage and time to learn it.
- I grew up near Caparica, the beach coast around Lisbon and, as such, I am a beach fan! This year I started taking surf classes every Saturday so let's see how that goes! Again, still at a beginner level :)
- I really don't like to cook, but sure love to eat! I enjoy trying new dishes and going to new restaurants in the city. Sushi is my favourite!
- I am a book worm and love to read. Currently reading Elena Ferrante.
