Overview
About Me
I've visited 30+ countries all over the world. I also lived in the Netherlands. For the last year, I've been living in Denmark and working at an efterskole. I was teaching programming and business.
I welcome diversity and multiculturalism. I'm an active person who expands the boundaries of his world by travelling and meeting new people. Since 14 years I've been travelling alone or with my friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to discover new cultures, meet new interesting people, who can share their hospitality and knowledge about different cities I'm visiting.
My aim is to talk to as many people as possible to become familiar with every culture and every type of people, which will help me with my career and soft skills.
I would really love to talk about every topic like education, charity, politics, travelling, management or food :)
Interests
I worked at Algorithmics, a global EdTech startup, which teaches children programming and digital skills. I put my efforts into creating a better product and building processes. Also, I teach programming to children on Sundays.
I'm an experienced volunteer. I help difficult teenagers from Russian orphanages to socialise and find a friend to talk and share problems. I also taught Math in the orphanage. I was teaching children on the weekend courses. Recently I was a counsellor at English-speaking summer camp.
I ride my bike a lot and run 10k regularly.
I studied management at a business school. So I'm interested in management, sustainability, marketing, time-management, self-development topics.
In 2017 I organized TEDx event at my university. You can find it by “tedxspbu”. In 2016 my team organised one of the largest business-conferences in St. Petersburg with more than 600 guests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 14 I travelled in England alone for 1 month. Frankly speaking, I had a place to live, but I was left to myself. I didn't know English well, but I travelled a lot using gestures and basic vocabulary. It was a huge challenge for Russian teenager like me but I did it. After that journey I started learning English hard. That journey changed my life. I hope every next big trip would influence me in a good way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've read many books about management and stuff. If you're interested in near-MBA knowledge, I have plenty of books to advice.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will happily share my experience of volunteer and traveller. I'm sure you'll like it.
