Hi, Im Ege, from Istanbul, Turkey. Currently, im trying to do the most important purpose of Erasmus program, traveling.

I grew up in a small town called Bodrum, very close to the Greek islands. From this town where I lived when I was little, you can go to Greece by ferry in 45 minutes. Maybe that's why I've always been intrigued by such cross-cultural differences (interestingly, a lot changes in 45 minutes).

Now I want to satisfy my curiosity by visiting other countries and meeting local people. I hope I get the chance to meet you too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see new countries, meet new people and learn new things. I'm currently in the Erasmus program and there may never have a better time to do this.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite genre is techno and jazz-rap. When the sun goes down, jazz leaves its place to techno.
I like to watch The Godfather 1 & 2 but of course not 3. I also love animations.
The book that I never get tired of reading again is Essays from Montaigne.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not an incredibly crazy person. I always prefer calm & chill evenings, but the fact is I'm open to any kind of experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences about the countries i visited and of course about Turkey, and if we can find the necessary ingredients, I can cook foods from Greek-Turkish cuisine.
