My name is Neha, I'm a Journalism student based in Toronto but i've been studying in Singapore for the past 4 months. Currently planning to spend the summer in Australia and New Zealand - looking to meet some great people and see some wonderful nature!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend from school mentioned using Couchsurfing a lot last year and told me amazing stories about the people she met while travelling and highly recommended it to me. I wanted to try it out as a way to meet interesting people who live in the places I want to visit - and who can show me what its like to live there!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm currently really into Japanese funk (it's amazing) but also really love 80s post-punk bands, art rock, dream-pop, synth-pop.

Movies: favourites have to be Amelie, Frances Ha, Before Sunrise, Spirited Away and Chungking Express

Books: I try to read everything so I have no preference of genre but right now I'm reading a lot of plays. Love magic realism, mostly read a lot of fiction but try to get some non-fiction in there as well. Shadow of the Wind and Dharma Bums are probably one of my all time favourites though.
