Having met amazing people on CS before, I am hoping to make new connections and learn more about the world through them.

My interests include creative writing (poetry, musings), digging up new art, painting (occasionally), learning more programming languages, exploring new music, trying out new food/anime/music, spiritual explorations, trekking and discovering new places.

I'm into rock and folk metal : eluveitie, kamelot, slipknot, nirvana, buckethead, led zeppelin, AC/DC, black sabbath stuff. I also enjoy alternative and indie music : bon iver, daughter, explosions in the sky, sleeping at last to name a few.
Lately I've been into house and psychedelic trance music :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being able to meet like-minded people while travelling is so important - people who can teach you more about a place than any book or blog. The reason I use and promote CS is because of the countless wonderful experiences I've had and people I've met through this platform.

Interests

I'm really into hiking and trekking, a trait I think I got from my father - he is a biker by passion and a true adventurer at heart. My passion for travelling has developed immensely in the past few years and as I grow older, I realise it is something really important and close to my heart!

Major rock enthusiast - Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Queens of the stone age, Foo Fighters, Marilyn Manson, Buckethead, Black Sabbath, Stone Sour, Neil Young, etc. Folk metal is a big yes. Blues are everything!

Books - Bukowski, Marcus Aurelias, Omar Khayyam, Rumi, Ram Dass, Rainier Maria Rilke.

Movies and TV Shows : Into movies like The Butterfly Effect, The Sixth Sense, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Pulp Fiction. I've recently been watching alot of creative (mainly French) movies like Betty Blue, La Belle Noiseuse, La Collectionneuse, etc. Into Anime movies and series - Demon Slayer, 5 centimeters per second, Whisper of the Heart, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Witnessed the hot air balloons rising with the sun in Cappadocia, Turkey
-Road tripped the Pacific Coast Highway from SF to LA
-Encountered a bear on a hike in the Himalayas
-Sky dived in Key West, Florida
