Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for some support and people to meet as I travel to places either I've never been or am not familiar with

Interests

I do a lot of volunteering in my spare time. Otherwise I'm playing my bass, reading, or enjoying what London's culture scene (musicals, theatres, comedy clubs..) has to offer on a weekly basis.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz/rock/VGM/funk, or anything with a good baseline really.

Non fiction mostly - topics are far too varied, I tend to pick up cheap books that catch my eye/interest from charity stores. The occasional fiction is more or less only manga.

Don't watch TV - my job is all day behind a screen so put strong focus on my hobbies to be away from screens. I do enjoy the odd cinema viewing from time to time however - not big blockbusters, more independent and less mainstream productions.

Teach, Learn, Share

Because of my varied reading interests I tend to have pretty broad knowledge on global politics, economics, psychology, cultures...and of course travelling often always helps to build this knowledge base.
