Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy engaging with new people, find out what they have been up to, what they will be up to. I think the learning goes both ways when you meet people from different backgrounds than yourself. I dislike the tourist trail and love to see how homegrowners do it, so for me couch surfing is ideal

Interests

I'm a diehard musical person- singing, playing instruments, listening- it's the most important thing to me. I do musical theatre when I can, watch plays etc. I am passionate about film and consider almodovar as one of my favourite directors. I like to hang out at home and cook and play board games with my friends, but I like a good party too, and dance with the best of them. I enjoy going to gay clubs once in a while, meeting new people, and I think I'm quite approachable in a club. Otherwise, new experiences excite me and I'm always finding new interests to keep me occupied.

Music, Movies, and Books

My tastes range from your classic anthems, to pop, to electro, to rock, to punk, to house, to classical. My ultimate idol is Justin Vernon from Bon Iver. Like I said music is my life! Movies are second to that, and I devour movies with passion and will watch anything at least once, and will stray away from the blockbusters to art cinema, or anime. I'm typically scouring the film festivals for some gems (my next watch is anomalisa, which sounds fantastic, and Kaufman is a stunningly beautiful director). Reading is not my forte but hopefully now the degree is done, I can stop reading medical books and move onto some great literature!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am good company, and I can share my stories and I wish that they can share theirs. I can share the delights of London and I'm a help in anything (I like to keep myself busy). I can share laughter and good times. I can all share medical advice (but only unofficially as a friend!). I've also been told I have a wonderful singing voice so as a thank you I'm happy to sing a song of your choice (if I know the lyrics!)
