Overview
About Me
I have a keen sense of adventure and enjoy pursuing new and exiting experiences. I am a rational thinker, open minded but conservative in my own moral ideology. I prefer doing rather than taking as was my experience in various leadership en devours. I am socially well equip but struggle to find pleasure in small talk.
My father is a dentist, mother is a practice manager, brother architect student.I am in a serious relationship with a girl. I grow up in a small town with a farming community. Much of my personal development is accredited to times spend on our family cattle ranch in Namibia.
Our family lived in GB for three years in my pre-school stage and also spend time in New Zealand recently.
My hobbies include trailrunning, hiking, mountain and rock climbing, kite surfing, snorkeling, slack-lining, ski and snowboarding (the lack of cold weather in South Africa makes it a challenge to pursue). I enjoy cooking and like most students I enjoy beer. I have a great love for woodworking and hope to one day have it as a serious hobby or career.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm embarking on a backpacking trip through Italy on the first of December 2017. Hope to meet and learn about the lives of people who call Italy home.

Music- Like I told my brothers girlfriend, I listen and like music that is suited for a certain situation and time. But my favorite band is an afrikaans band called Zinkplaat play an alternative rock.
The alchemist by Paulo Coelho is my favorite book, I have read it three times.
And the list of my top movies is quite long. Wes Anderson and Quinton Tarantino are my favorite directors.
