I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska before going to college at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. I recently graduated with my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and now live and work in Kansas City, Missouri.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of my best experiences travelling have been through Couchsurfing and AirBnB. For some, a hotel is perfectly fine, but when I travel, I like to really get into the place I'm visiting, and there's no better way to do that then by staying with locals. Not to mention that pretty much every AirBnB or Couchsurfing host I've stayed with has been incredibly kind, gracious, and interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked solo through 30 miles of Colorado wilderness, got lost, climbed out of a gorge back to the trail.

This past summer I solo traveled for two months. I started in Ireland, then visited Iceland, Denmark, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Myanmar.

I try to fit in plenty of trips to the mountains and such with my work schedule, but my next big trip will hopefully be Alaska, New Zealand, or Iceland (again).
