Overview
About Me
My ideas of fun would be hiking, dancing, riding motorbikes, bouldering, learning, reading, yoga, meditation, doing something that scares me, and getting to know other people. I was living in London for a while and now I'm back in Melbourne and happy to host and explore new parts of the city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet and gain exposure to new people, cultures and ideas. I know there is a vast pool of knowledge and insight we can gain from anyone as long as we look with the right perspective.
If you’ve read till here type ‘motorrad’ in your request.
Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favourite movies would be The Man from Earth, Interstellar, Captain Fantastic and The Usual Suspects.
Books would include A Decolonial Feminism, Beyond Good and Evil, 17 Contradictions and the End of Capitalism and The Will to Change by bell hooks.
I studied philosophy at uni, but I've recently been reading books by Pema Chodron and Thich Nhat Hanh that have been helpful in relaxing more into life and enjoying whatever it is I'm doing. Also I'm a big nerd about nutrition and movement having just finished How Not to Diet by Dr Michael Gregor and reading/practicing the philosophy of movement throughout the day as opposed to the idea of working out.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done a non-stop 100 kilometre trail hike.
Teach, Learn, Share
I work as a personal trainer and have taught some philosophy before, so that is something I can teach others.
I’m also open to learning and trying nearly anything so let me know if you have skills you would like to share/teach :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A friendly and easy-going traveller that is happy to help clean and cook.
