Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have my own place near Manchester (Bolton), UK, with a spare room. I figured it would be nice to allow someone to stay here free whenever the room is available. The town I live in isn't too exciting, but I live next to a train station with regular trains into Manchester and Wigan, so it could be a good alternative to staying in the city.
