Having spent much time studying healthcare and completing various qualifications I realised the many other dimensions of life to enjoy and embrace, including the outdoors. I re-learnt how to sail and became an instructor and also started running. Since then, I have had the good fortune of exploring areas of the UK and its countryside; including local areas that I didn't even know existed and further afield. I have also had the opportunity of exploring a number of European cities whilst competing in Marathons, including Malta, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Berlin. I also sail when I can, mainly on inland waters but also on the coast.
I'm outward going and also love to hear and share other's stories and experiences.
