About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To unleash my inner nature nerd, build meaningful connections, and maximize the serendipity in my life.
ABOUT ME
Minimalist, anti-consumer, nature enthusiast, adventurous, inquisitive, passionate yet disciplined.
PHILOSOPHY
Go Big or Go Home!
Everything in life is a probability except for death.
Life is a compromise of what your ego wants to do, what experience tells you to do, and what your nerves let you do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A friend of mine introduced me to couchsurfing as I started traveling and running marathons around the world. I think that it's the coolest way of knowing the world. Like most people working in a 9 to 5 job, I often feel stuck in the small world around me and wonder what people do and think in other parts of the world. Either through hosting or surfing, couchsurfing allows me to be connected with like-minded people and take a street-level look at the human experience. It helps me get a broader perspective and understand what the planet is truly like.
Interests
Running, hiking, biking, traveling, sketching, music. I enjoy hanging out with like-minded friends exploring all sorts of cultural and historic sites and engaging in intellectual conversations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A former couch potato who struggled with passing PE classes in school, I am the fastest finisher from China at the 2017 Boston Marathon. I frequently run marathons and other long-distance races across the U.S. and the world. I look forward to continuing my athletic and spiritual journey and being inspired by people and places encountered in travel.
