About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live and let live!
ABOUT ME
I'm an easy-going girl who loves to travel and who, for the moment, is working in sunny-bright palm-treed Alicante, in the south east coast of Spain.
I am very open-minded, I like meeting new people and learning new things about different cultures or someone else's experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to treat others the way I like to be treated...
I think it also reflects in the kind of host I am :) I love when people tell me they felt welcome at my place, and that they somehow felt they were at home :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For a long time I've been very active in different youth organisations and travelled a lot while I was at University. I organised lots of activities and events in my city and surroundings, especially for other European students.
Right now, just starting what it's supposed to be "adult's life", I feel I am not ready to work-eat-sleep and let that circle lead my life... Being part of CS project gives me the opportunity of meeting other cultures and people even if I am not able to travel as much I used to.
In the past, I loved those acts of kindness from random strangers while I was in a foreign country, when I was lost and I couldn't speak the language; now I love being the random stranger who makes acts of kindness to others (mostly CSers :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted quite a lot of people in Alicante, and I've got great experiences, I've met amazing different people and I've made a bunch of friends who surfed my couch :)
I've surfed abroad recently for the first time and it was great too!!!
Couchsurfing has helped to, somehow, restore my faith in the fact that there are good people in the world - generous, hospitable, genuine people who are curious for someone else's culture and want to make the world a little bit better :)
