ABOUT ME

Adventurous, always up for a run or a hike, newly found appreciation for body surfing, and will never say no to an adventure (seriously never). That being said I am a responsible outdoorsman with great stories from my 15+years in search and rescue and 4 summers as a whitewater rafting guide in Montana.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hosted on CS in college to a guy named Luc who was so wonderful and happened to visit at a great time for me and my roommates to really connect and have a great visit. He mentioned if we ever traveled to Geneva, Switzerland to reach out.
Fast forward 11 years and my wife and I are planning our honeymoon to Switzerland and France. I mentioned that I maybe had a CS had a friend in Geneva, we reached out and reconnected with Luc, stayed and reminisced about his trip in the states, and it was one of the hilights of our trip.
That is one small example of the amazing opportunity of connecting with strangers, and I love it so much!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bicycled across the country from Seattle to New york. Along the way I met amazing people and got to see a cross section of American culture!

My girlfriend jane and recently did a bike tour in Denmark, Croatia, Austria Slovenia, and Northern Italy.
