ABOUT ME

after years of trying to leave london, i finally got a job (which i quit in october 2014!) in paris and haven't looked back once. it's one of the best cities in the world and i want to share it with anyone wanting to feel the way i do about it. while i'd be delighted to share any knowledge i have of paris with whoever will listen, my favourite thing to do here is eat great food and frequent the wine/cocktail bars and hidden gems of the city, especially in hotels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have only ever couchsurfed once as i was lucky enough to stay in hotels for free with my old job, although i have hosted many people at my place(s) in paris and have made met some great people and made some lifelong friends. i'm always happy to host if i can and show people around one of the greatest cities on the planet :-)

Musica, film e libri

i'm not a huge music buff but i'll listen to most things...more into calmer, chilled music than hard rock or dance music

i mainly watch independent movies about, or based on, real life...not a big action/science fiction/fantasy/special effects fan...to give you an idea one of my favourite films is 'garage' by lenny abrahamson

i have a pretty big book collection on many subjects...i enjoy a good classic novel, especially american literature. i read a lot on north korea and scandinavia but also have books on many other topics such as travel, food and drink, art, design, fashion, hotels, history, language...
