About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world while I can.
ABOUT ME
My name is Neil, I've been travelling on and off for the past 4 years while living in Australia/New Zealand.
I am travelling alone which was quite daunting to begin with, as I felt it was out of my comfort zone. But I've been having a blast, meeting open and friendly travellers!
I can be quiet at times, but am sociable and easy going.
I am interested in being shown the Cities and Countries I visit, by the people living there, whether they be native or not. As each would have a different take on the culture and customs. I find socialising is as good a way to experience the differences in a culture as sightseeing etc. And I do enjoy a drink from time to time, but then again I am Irish....
That's one stereotype that's not entirely unjust!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is too short for all the bullshit!
Take each day as it comes.

Music, Movies, and Books
Worked in a record store on and off for 6 years, so my music taste is fairly eclectic. As long as it takes real talent and ability, I'll give it a listen!
Favourite band at the minute is "Queens of the Stone Age" their earlier stuff.
Movies: I could spend all day writing and only scratch the surface!!!
As for books, my favourite is Papillon by Henri Charriere.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My time in Africa was spectacular...
Such a culture overload, social change you could visibly see. Everyone should see Africa if at all possible!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to share cultures.
Ideally whoever might be so kind as to host me, would be willing to share their culture through conversation and socialising, and spend a little time showing me their country.
