About Me

For some reason it says I'm in San Diego some times but AS OF MAY 2017 I am still in South America and will be for a while...like two more years

M goal is to never look at another Lonely Planet again. I want to travel based on the advice and recommendations of the people I meet along the way. Couch surfing is a great way to connect with the culture and learn more than any travel book can tell you.

I started backpacking my way around South America in Aug 2015. I was supposed to be on a one year trip around the world, and here I am almost two years later still in South America.

I bought a VW Kombi Bus in Brazil in May 2016 and have been driving it around since. Honestly, I can park my bus anywhere and have a place to sleep. I don't couch surf for free accommodation because I literally have my own house I can bring anywhere.

Looking for cool passangers who can tell good jokes, play music, cook good food, share funny stories, teach me magic.....just add something to my experience and I'll take you anywhere!

My aunt said to me one day, " When your time on this planet has ended, be sure your family and friends reach for your photo album before they reach for your will" and it has really resonated with me over the years. If you can't tell by my photos, I have a passion for photography.

Hopefully we leave a lasting impression on each other. I'm really looking forward to this experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel it's the best way to meet other people and build a network. I can afford hotels and hostels, but I enjoy meeting locals more than more backpackers. I visit countries to learn about their traditions so I like to stay with locals as much as possible.
