Oh this one is tough. I'm a fan of anything that presents a challenging viewpoint or an interesting take on something. Some fiction I enjoy that I've read many times are On the Road, Candid, Crime and Punishment, Waking Up. I'm a huge fan of Richard Linklater so Waking Life and Before Sunrise are definitely good to watch.
