About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling around south America with my girlfriend, Marta.

ABOUT ME

I organise tours of the UK and Europe for groups of North Americans and do an impression of a tour guide on them.

PHILOSOPHY

"Zest" (Whitehead). Affirm life, see the zest wherever it is, and if it's not there, make it, interact with it, and then move onto something else.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have stayed with folk just about more than I've hosted. Just now I tend to meet up with people in Glasgow, when they get in touch and I'm able to. Visitors revitalize the city for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Wales, Bulgaria, Serbia, Israel, Hungary, Holland, Morocco.

Had people staying with me from Russia, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Brazil and Holland. And I've met up with people in Glasgow from all over.

Interests

Been away from academia-philosophy-type-stuff for a while and now planning to get back into it while hanging out in Budapest.

Teach, Learn, Share

The word, 'chat' comes from WW1. The soldiers called lice 'chats' and would speak to each other as they took the lice out of each other's hair, hence, 'chatting'.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I got the skills to pay the bills. Actually, I don't really, would maybe couchsurf less if I did.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Palestine, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City State, Viet Nam, Wales
