Born in Jakarta, and raised in Bandung - both are two of the busiest and main cities in West Java, Indonesia.

After marrying my husband for three years, we've finally decide to move and open a business in a more remote but beautiful eastern part of Indonesia. Now we own a pizza place called INDIGO resto which doubles as an information center for tourists and travelers, in Kupang - East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even though now is still the time for me and my husband to save money and build our lives, deep inside we have the passion to know other cultures from around the world and plans to travel around the planet to see it and experience it up close.

Being on Couchsurfing helps me to discover and meet new people with different backgrounds from around the world even though I'm bound not to travel anywhere for now. And to meet and share experiences with these people keeps my spirits up :)

Listens to all kinds of music, but prefers folk, new wave, jazz, bossa nova, classic rock / blues..

Likes Indonesian contemporary literatures, specially the ones by Ayu Utami. Collects vintage National Geography magazines. Also reads Haruki Murakami's, and classics.

Not a fan of watching movies in the theater. Watch all genres of movies but dislike shallow full action movies. A fan of the Walking Dead and Game of Thrones tv series.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach basic Indonesian language and how to cook Indonesian dishes.

Point out some spots in Kupang and its surrounding that are worth to visit. I would also gladly take you myself if I have some free time.

I studied the social and cultural backgrounds in Indonesia, so I can share this information to travelers that are interested :)
