COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been couchsurfers all our lives, hosting and staying with friends and friends of friends throughout the world. We just didn't know that there was a name for it!

A friend of a friend let us surf his couch in Scotland in 2004. Drove with us throughout the Highlands for a weekend--he had climbed most every mountain in Scotland. Because of him, our time there was a richer experience by an order of magnitude.

Since discovering, couchsurfing.com, we have had the privilege of hosting and surfing with fellow couchsurfers through the website.

John is the Official Town Crier of the City of Minneapolis and we took part in the World Town Crier Tournament in Chester, England in 2004, placing 7th out of 45 Criers from 11 countries.
