Hi, I'm Nekane! ✌🏽
I'm a longtime fan of the Couchsurfing community and love connecting with new people from all walks of life. I believe in long, leisurely lunches and afternoon siestas—but I'm also always up for an adventure, whether that means exploring a new city, learning a new skill, or picking up a new hobby on the fly.

My life has taken me down some interesting paths: I’ve worked as a firefighter, finished boats in Alaska, taught English across Europe and Namibia, and now I’m working as a bike mechanic in the Pyrenees. I love getting my hands dirty and learning by doing.

What really drives me is curiosity—about people, cultures, languages, and different ways of life. I think there's always something to learn from each other, and Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to do just that.
